Great news for jobs…

as Derbyshire sees new investment approved by South Derbyshire County Council. The investment is from a German-owned multinational.

The new 540 thousand sq ft water bottling facility planned near Foston has received approval. The new plant in Derbyshire will create 163 new jobs, and greatly reduce the carbon footprint of bottled water.

The new facility at Dove Valley Park willjoin other companies such as JCB, Futaba and Kuehne + Nagel as employers in the area.

The new facility will be part of the MEG Group, itself a part of the holding group, Schwarz, that owns LIDL.
